Traineeship programmes are designed for young people, typically aged 16 to 18 years old who are currently not in
education, employment or training.
The programme aims to improve the employability of those enrolled, by removing skills and experience gaps through work placement and the achievement of qualifications that will allow the progression into either apprenticeships or full-time employment.
Through the tutorage of fully qualified teachers and assessors, learners will complete a fully accredited Level 1 or 2 qualification whilst undertaking their traineeship with us.
Level 2 Extended Certificate in Workskills: The purpose of the certificate is to provide learners with practical essential skills, such as:-
• Writing a CV
• Applying for employment
• Managing your own money
• Managing your time
• Leadership & teamwork skills
Functional skills in Maths and/or English (if necessary): Functional skills support the development of key skills in Maths and English that are required as a part of day-to-day working life, and are necessary for further progression in education, or for securing employment.
Gain work experience within industries such as Fibreglass production; painting & decorating; business admin, sports & leisure and many more.
The potential for full-time employment at the end of the programme with a guaranteed exit interview.

"I didn't really know what to do, straight after leaving school I had enrolled at college but I left there pretty soon afterwards as I felt college was just not for me.
However, the traineeship was different- it gets you working straight away. It gives you something to do and something to push for rather than being stuck at college for 2 years; you can start working and earning money straight away."
Ashley has since gone on to secure full-time employment within the fibre glass industry as a result of his traineeship placement, and is currently enjoying working life.
APPLICATION PROCESS & ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
• Must hold no qualifications above level 2
• Must be aged 16-18 years old
• Must not currently be in education, training or employment
Must have not previously completed an apprenticeship
• Must be eligible to work in the UK
